Success rates vary significantly depending on factors such as the patient's age, medical condition, history, and the specific treatment protocol utilized. At New World Fertility, we continuously strive to enhance success rates through the integration of cutting-edge technology and the standardization of procedures.
The IVF procedure may be recommended when other fertility treatments have been unsuccessful or when the likelihood of a successful pregnancy is greater compared to alternative treatments. If there are no contraindications, the procedure can be performed upon the couple's request, at a time deemed suitable for IVF.
Tubal-peritoneal factor: When fallopian tube patency is compromised, hindering the egg's passage into the uterine cavity, options include surgical laparoscopic intervention to restore patency or proceeding with IVF, where an embryo is implanted directly into the uterus.
Male factor: This diagnosis arises when sperm quality is insufficient. If the quantity or quality of healthy, active sperm is inadequate for conception, ART treatments such as IVF, IUI, or ICSI may be recommended.
Endometriosis: Mild cases of endometriosis often respond to surgical and hormonal interventions. If pregnancy does not result from these treatments, couples may be advised to undergo IVF.
Age-related infertility: Age significantly influences the timing and approach to IVF. With age-related infertility, enhancing standard IVF with techniques like ICSI and assisted hatching may be beneficial.
Anovulation: Initial treatment for anovulation typically involves hormonal stimulation paired with IUI. If this approach proves unsuccessful, IVF remains a viable option.
Unexplained infertility: In cases where a definitive diagnosis cannot be made and conventional therapies fail, couples may be recommended to pursue IVF as a potential solution.
During this procedure, the female egg is retrieved under anesthesia and subsequently fertilized with the husband's sperm in a laboratory setting. Following fertilization, the resulting embryo is transferred back into the uterus after a period of 3-5 days.
